This Sunday February 13, we will be beginning our series 'The Roman Road,' a study through the Book of Romans. We will have a Scripture journal and sermon notes notebook available.
The goal of the notebook is to help us all get the most out of the series as possible. Each week we will be writing out the portion of scripture that we will be studying through the next Sunday. There will be a place for you to record your notes as you study through the book, and to record any notes from the Sunday morning messages.
5 of the key passages we will be looking at and that we will be encouraging one another to memorize and mark in your Bible is what has been called the Roman Road to salvation:
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Our Condition
Romans 6:23a, "For the wages of sin is death," - Our Problem
Romans 6:23b, "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" and Romans 5:8, "But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!" - GOD'S Provision
Romans 10:9-10; & 13, "If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." - Our Response
So, hopefully you will begin now memorizing these scriptures and preparing for the journey down the Roman Road with us.
